Within 5 minutes of arriving on our houseboat, Chance fell down the stairs and skinned his forehead and nose. They are going to scar for sure :(
Thank goodness Chance is a tough little kid. He was over his injury and ready to play again immediately. Now, if it would have been Savanna, she would still be milking it to this day.
Chance spent the entire trip on Dusty's lap 'helping' him drive the boat.

Our family on the tube. You know you are getting old when you are more afraid on the tube than your timid 5 year old daughter. Man, life changes when you are a mom.
Dusty and the kids
One night, Dusty took the boat out of the canyon so he could use his cell phone. After hours of not coming back, we got worried and sent another boat to look for him. His boat had sucked up some of the sticks in the water and had broken down right around the corner from us just out of view, he never made it out of the canyon. He was stuck for hours trying to get our attention. The kids were worried and finally fell asleep.
